Ekadashi Special Sabudana Khichdi


  • 1/3 Cup Sagoo/ Sabudana, which are washed and soaked overnight
  • 2 Tbsp Sunflower Oil
  • 2 medium sized potatoes chopped in small cubes
  • 4 pcs of hot green chillies chopped
  • 7pcs of Cashew Nuts
  • 1 Tbsp Sultanas/Dried Grapes/Draksh
  • 4 Tbsp ground peanuts
  • Salt, Sugar, Lemon Juice(Approximate these to your taste) and half tomato chopped

Ingredients Needed!


Heat Sunflower oil add Cumin seeds, Cashew nut, sultanas and green chillies


Add the cubed potatoes and cook them for 8mins


Further add chopped tomatoes and ground peanuts


Let them cook until they look like that 🙂


Sieve the soaked sabudana and drain out all the water, add salt, lemon juice, sugar and ground peanuts and mix well


Add the Sabudana to the mixture and mix well


Steam it until the sabudana is fully cooked, with a lid, and thats ready to Eat 🙂
